And so the cycle continues, hope, hype, disappointment, over and over, leaving UNC’s fanbase restless and uncertain about the program’s future. With playoff hopes dwindling and the scoreboard offering little reassurance, GM Michael Lombardi felt compelled to step in and issue an update, trying to steady the fanbase and restore some confidence in the program.
