In a disheartening performance versus the Chicago Bears, the New Orleans Saints fell to 1-6 on the season. The 26-14 final indicates a much closer result as opposed to the on-field activity shown in film. Next up, the Saints will return home to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what will be New Orleans’ first divisional game of the year.
Turnovers Galore:
Chicago went into Sunday’s contest tied for the league lead in turnover differential. After they won the stat battle 4-1 versus the Saints, they now have a firm grasp of that top ranking. Spencer Rattler had thrown just one interception prior to the game against the Bears, but threw three picks and fumbled the ball. You cannot win football games if you cannot take care of the rock.
