The jury will enter the first full day of deliberations in the federal corruption trial of former deputy state budget director Konstantinos “Kosta” Diamantis on Tuesday.

Prosecutors repeatedly called Diamantis a corrupt public official who pressured two contractors to pay bribes and for one to hire his daughter while he was overseeing the state’s school construction program and that, in exchange, he used his influence to help them on school construction projects.
