IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Federal court documents show the worker detained by ICE agents last month at Bread Garden Market in Iowa City, has been indicted on three counts by a grand jury.
According to the indictment filed October 9, Jorge Eliecer Gonzalez-Ochoa is charged with:
Fraud and Misuse of Documents
Use of Immigration Identification Documents Not Lawfully Issued
False Representation of Social Security Number
Gonzalez was arrested by ICE during his shift at the Bread Garden Market on September 25. Video of his arrest shows ICE agents, in plainclothes, taking Gonzalez to the ground in front of customers and coworkers. He is then loaded into a van and taken away.
