A man is in custody after threatening staff at a hospital in Grady County, according to police.

The Grady County Sheriff's Office says a man called Grady Memorial Hospital on Sunday, threatening to blow up the building and shoot medical staff.

After a brief investigation, GCSO said the threats were credible and worked to identify the man who made the threat.

The sheriff's office says that man, later identified as Cody Simmons, was arrested at his home and booked into jail on felony complaints of Harassing and Threatening Electronic Communication and Making a Telephone Bomb Threat.

Simmons' bond is set at $7,500
