CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- When not being the CVC Soccer Player of the Week, or leading the Tiger Soccer Team to a 16-2 record this fall, Ethan Johnson has also excelled in the classroom -- being named the CVRC’s Student of the Month.

Johnson believes that the competition on the pitch has taught him valuable life skills.

“Being an athlete has taught me the importance of having discipline and resilience in every task or problem I face -- it has strengthened my work ethic and helped me develop a growth mindset,” Johnson explains.

The action at Harris Stadium has translated into academic success. Ethan is a National Merit Commended Scholar, earned a Bausch and Lomb Science Scholarship, a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, and has completed several AP Courses.
