BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shootings that happened within just five hours of each other in different parts of the County.

Deputies say the first happened Monday around 11 p.m. in Bluffton.

Several people called at that time to report shots fired at the Vista View apartment complex on Haigler Boulevard.

Deputies found property damage which they say was consistent with gunfire. No injuries were reported in connection to this shooting.

The second shooting, deputies say, happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday on St. Helena Island.

Deputies responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Shiney Road. On the way to the scene, they learned a gunshot victim was already on the way to the hospital.
