HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) - A juvenile suspect was identified in a shooting that left a man dead Friday in Hendersonville.

The Hendersonville Police Department said officers arrived on scene to a home on Woodcock Drive just after 8 p.m. Friday in response to multiple 911 calls regarding a shooting.

At the scene, officers said they found 29-year-old Justin Alan Davis with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the police department, warrants have been obtained for a juvenile suspect, and investigators are actively working with the suspect's family to encourage his surrender to law enforcement.

The name and identity of the juvenile will not be released at this time, due to their age.
