A thankful grandmother has expressed her delight after witnessing the rejuvenation of a cherished children’s hospice garden, thanks in part to her People’s Postcode Lottery win. ‌

Aileen Suter, 65, visited the newly restored gardens at Children’s Hospices Across Scotland’s (CHAS) Robin House, in Balloch, which was devastated by Storm Eowyn back in January. ‌

Her visit came just seven months after she and her neighbours shared a whopping £1 million Postcode Lottery prize, leading to a £150,000 funding award for the hospice. ‌

As she strolled through the thriving grounds with hospice head gardener Maggie Brown, Aileen was visibly moved.
