Sean Bean is fronting a brand new factual programme exploring the stories of some of history's most infamous criminals.

Spanning from Al Capone to The Krays and the Queen of Harlem, Original Gangsters sees the actor join forces with specialists to distinguish reality from myth regarding their reputations.

The programme's opening instalment, scheduled to broadcast on November 4, focuses on the Peaky Blinders and will see Sean Bean investigate the truth behind the Steven Knight smash hit drama, which is set to make a comeback.
