FRANKLIN, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Milestone Contractors, L.P., is scheduled to temporarily close northbound U.S. 31 overnight on or after the evening of Wednesday, October 22, to perform pipe repair work in Franklin.

The closure will take place on U.S. 31 just north of East County Road 300N (Earlywood Drive) from approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday to 6 a.m. on Thursday, weather permitting.

This work is part of a $66.2 million intersection improvement contract awarded to Milestone in February 2025. The overall project maintenance is anticipated to be complete in 2028.
