HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old from Central City.
According to a release, emergency crews were sent to a report of an accident near the 8 mile-marker on US-62 in Greenville just after 7 p.m. on October 13. Authorities say a preliminary investigation determined that Nicholas Brown was driving a sedan when he left the roadway and overturned multiple times before he was ejected from his vehicle.
Brown later died as a result of his injuries at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville on Monday.
Kentucky State Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
