E-auction of fancy registration numbers from Oct 29

Fancy vehicle registration numbers that fetch a hefty sum of money will go under the hammer from October 29 till October 31.

The registration for participating in e-auction of new series “CH01DB” along with re-auction of leftover fancy/special registration numbers of “CH01DA”, “CH01CZ”, “CH01”CX” & “CH01CZ” will start from 10 am on October 22 and continue till 5 pm on October 28. The e-bidding will begin from 10 am on October 29 and end at 5 pm on October 31.

The owner of the vehicle can obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN) by registering himself/herself on vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same is available on the Chandigarh Administration and the Transport Department website (chdtransport.gov.in).
