Both Disney+ and Hulu lost millions and millions of subscribers during the month of September following the Jimmy Kimmel suspension .
That’s according to the New York Times which cites the subscription research firm, Antenna .
Disney took “Jimmy Kimmel Live” off of the ABC airwaves on September 17 following comments Kimmel made on the death of Charlie Kirk during his monologue.
After that, the numbers show around three million Americans cancelled their Disney+ subscription with another 4.1 million Hulu cancellations in the U.S.
The New York Times says the Disney+ cancellations were roughly triple the amount during a normal month and more than double for Hulu.
