Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is officially running for a third term.
In an announcement on Tuesday, Ellison said he's seeking reelection to make the cost of living more affordable and to continue pushing back against the Trump administration.
"Since you elected me seven years ago, we've won tough fights to help you afford your life in the greatest state in America: Minnesota," Ellison said in his campaign video. "Now, I'm running for reelection to keep Minnesota a fair place where rule of law prevails over power and privilege."
Among the accomplishments highlighted by state's top prosecutor are reducing the cost of insulin, holding big corporations like Juul and TikTok accountable, and protecting loan borrowers from predatory lenders.
