Thienminh Dinh, an emergency physician from Brisbane who works with Doctors Without Borders, said while the war had driven up rates of malnutrition and amputations among Palestinians, the mental and emotional trauma stemming from the conflict was "intergenerational."

She said the charity's mental health teams had been encouraging young Palestinians to draw, to help them process what they've seen in the last two years.
