Around 250 seniors had their day on Thursday morning, Oct. 16 as they were treated to information and venues for help, along with free coffee, giveaways, muffins, candy, popcorn and cookies.

Arts in the Sunset was filled with seniors bustling about colorful, fall decorated table tops for the Senior Ambassadors Coalition (SAC) Fall Festival. The main purpose of the event was to provide the growing segment of the local population with information about healthcare, finances, insurance and other services available for seniors locally.

A total of around 54 vendors packed the main area in Vermillion Gallery and offered their specialties and information, to the "golden oldies," as one woman put it.
