NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Two winning lottery tickets were sold in Brooklyn and the Bronx for this week’s drawings.
In Brooklyn, a third-prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Farmer Deli on 723 Grand Street, lottery officials said. The winning ticket was pulled on Monday.
The Powerball jackpot is currently up to $320 million with the next drawing on Wednesday.
In the Bronx, one lucky lottery player took home a Take 5 ticket worth $30,421. The ticket was sold at Fairfield Food Inc. on Third Avenue.
It’s been a lucky stretch for New York City. Over the weekend, a lottery ticket worth $33,000 was sold at a shop in the Bronx. Before that, a Bronx lottery player won a $1 million prize playing Mega Millions. In September, a player in Brooklyn won $3 million on a scratch-off
