SRINAGAR : The Government of India has sanctioned 36 road projects worth Rs 292.33 crore under PMGSY-IV Batch-I (2025–26) for the Baramulla Parliamentary constituency. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The projects, covering 136.69 kilometers, will provide road connectivity to 41 habitations across the parliamentary constituency.

Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, said the projects aim to strengthen infrastructure in rural areas and boost socio-economic growth.

Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson, Inam Un Nabi welcomed the move, saying it reflects how Engineer Rashid’s developmental vision continues to shape progress in north Kashmir despite his incarceration.
