Bengaluru, Oct 21: Karnataka Milk Federation’s (KMF) Nandini brand has set a new record by selling 1,100 metric tonnes of sweet products during the Dasara and Deepavali festivals, said minister K Venkatesh.

Speaking at Vidhana Soudha, the minister said, “Every year, there is a huge demand for sweets across the state during Dasara and Deepavali. In anticipation of the festive demand, KMF made advance preparations to produce and market over 40 varieties of sweets under the Nandini brand. For the 2025 festive season, considering the additional demand, a target of 1,000 metric tonnes was set, with detailed planning initiated two months in advance in coordination with all member milk unions.
