(NEXSTAR) — Need to pick up a prescription from CVS today? It may take you longer than expected as some of its pharmacies deal with a system outage.

In response to a user on X asking "how long CVS' system has been down," the company said that it is "experiencing a known system outage."

In a statement to Nexstar, a spokesperson said CVS is "working to resolve a network connection issue that’s impacting some of our pharmacies."

"While most of our pharmacies can still fill prescriptions, some patients may experience delays," the statement continued. The spokesperson confirmed the outage is not related to Monday's AWS outage.
