STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— After a tightly contested PSAL 3A season in the Staten Island division — where just three points separated the top three teams— Tottenville (23 points), New Dorp (20 points) and Curtis (20 points) have advanced to the citywide playoff bracket.

Given how competitive these three clubs were against each other during the regular season, it will be fascinating to see which Island team makes the deepest run in the playoffs — especially since all three clearly have the talent to do so.
