TAMPA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A group of teenagers in Tampa were arrested Oct. 19 after taking off in a stolen golf cart, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Video shows deputies, with support from the Aviation Unit, quickly finding the suspects in a mobile home park and chasing them down after they tried to run away.

“This is not the path we want to see our young people on,” Sheriff Chad Chronister was quoted on social media. “We can only hope they take this as an opportunity to make better choices moving forward.”
