CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) — One man was arrested and is in Jail on Tuesday after a vehicle chase on Monday took officers nearly into Chemung County, according to information from the Corning Police Department.

Aaron Low, 44, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 21, on the following charges: • Unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree • Criminal mischief: reckless property damage greater than $250. • DWI: Alcohol or drugs in the first degree. • Aggravated unlicensed operation

Low's arrest stems from a traffic stop conducted by Corning Police on Chemung Street around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20. Police claim that Low took off onto Park Avenue and then onto River Road. Low eventually crashed his truck near the Chemung County line, where he was taken into custod
