New Delhi: Veteran all-rounder Marizanne Kapp shown with both bat and ball to script South Africa’s 150-run win (DLS Method) over Pakistan in a rain-interrupted Women’s World Cup match in Colombo on Tuesday.

The win lifted South Africa to the top of the table while eliminating Pakistan from the tournament. South Africa have already qualified the for the semi-finals.

Kapp’s unbeaten 43-ball 68, after Wolvaardt’s 90 and Luus’ 61 took the Proteas to 312 for 9 in a match initially reduced to 40-overs-a-side.

The 35-year-old Kapp (3/20) then scuttled Pakistan’s chase as they were reduced to 35/4 in 10 overs before multiple rain delays forced the match to be reduced to 20-overs-a-side.

Pakistan could only reach 83/7, chasing a revised target of 234 in 20 overs.
