Skeletons have invaded Mount Clemens.
For the eighth year in a row city businesses are embracing the Mount Clemens Beatification Committee’s Skeleton Contest, evident by the bones of past ancestors displayed throughout town.
There’s even a huge skeleton tossing pumpkins from the roof of Nickel and Saph, Inc.
“This is the first time we’ve entered and it’s all Jodi and Mark Switalki’s fault,” said Stephen Saph, president of Nickel and Saph, whose rooftop skeleton display can be seen from the county courthouse.
Saph said the firm has always decorated their office for Halloween. However, once the Honorable Judge Mark Switalski (retired) and former Judge Jodi Switalski opened their business next door and joined in the festivities what seemed like a pretty nice display paled in comparison to
