MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Most businesses in the Mount Washington Valley said they had a successful foliage season, according to the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce's fall business survey.
More than half of the businesses included in the survey said the great weather and colorful foliage were helpful for business this fall and over October’s holiday weekend.
According to the survey, visits this fall rose by an estimated 13%, year over year.

Businesses in this region encountered challenges, with many citing the drought as a key influencing factor.
