The Wednesday morning commute will be wet, with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Most areas can expect around a half inch of rain, with slightly lower totals along the South Shore and Cape, and localized higher amounts north of Boston.
Temperatures will cool down on the other side of this front, staying in the 50s through the rest of the 10-day forecast, which is another reason to soak up today’s sunshine and warmth.
Normal highs this time of year are around 61 degrees, but they’re dropping quickly as the days shorten by nearly three minutes each day.
