SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- If President Donald Trump's remarks about the U.S. buying more beef from Argentina turn to action, cattle producers in America will be harmed, two South Dakota producers said.
"A lot of cattle (producers) support President Trump and this feels like a gut punch," said Craig Bieber, a rancher in McPherson County. Bieber is also the vice president of the South Dakota Cattlemen's Association.
"The reality is, beef isn't any higher than other products," Bieber said. While the price of beef has increases, so have other products.
"Compare it a bag of Doritoes. Beef is still a good value," Bieber said.
