MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Several players on the American League champion Toronto Blue Jays spent part of their minor league careers playing for the Double-A affiliate New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Blue Jays star first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is batting .442 with 6 home runs during the playoffs, played 61 games in Manchester as a 19-year-old in 2018, hitting .402 with 14 home runs and 60 RBI.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider was manager of those 2018 Fisher Cats, who went on to win the 2018 Eastern League.
