KENT COUNTY, MI - Halloween is days away, meaning families in West Michigan are sewing and patching up the finishing touches on costumes.

This year, the spooky holiday falls on Friday, Oct. 31. Most municipalities will have official trick-or-treating hours on Oct. 31, but some activities are held a few days prior.

Trunk-or-Treat Events

5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 21. at Garfield Park.

6 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 at El Barrio.

10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Sixth Street Park.

6 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 at the Harrison Park Academy, 1440 Davis Ave. NW.

Noon to 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 in Byron Center.

4 to 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 at Courtland-Oakfield United Methodist Church in Rockford.

2 to 4 p.m. on Oct.
