KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A previously convicted felon who crashed and was thought to be intoxicated was federally charged with the illegal possession of ammunition.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri announced on Tuesday, July 15, that Brian H. Brown, 49, has been charged in a federal indictment for the illegal possession of ammunition.

The federal indictment charged Brown with being a felon in possession of ammunition on July 3. An affidavit filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that around 6:30 p.m. on July 3, investigators were called to 97th and Holmes Ave. with
