BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Four men carjacked a 35-year-old man at gunpoint before driving off in his new Mercedes-Maybach Monday night in Brooklyn, police said.
The victim was walking to his luxury vehicle when the suspects approached him near 273 Meserole St. in East Williamsburg at around 9 p.m., according to the NYPD.
One of the men then pulled a gun from under his hoodie and threatened the victim before the suspects drove off in the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach, cops said.
The victim was not injured. There have been no arrests.
There have been 103 cars stolen in the Williamsburg area this year, up from 95 last year, according to NYPD data. There have been more than 10,800 vehicles stolen in New York City in 2025, according to the stats.
