With just more than 100 days until the 2026 Winter Olympics, the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team returned to Park City last week for an annual training camp — a moment they say serves as a reminder of why they do what they do.
In a packed community event on Thursday night, athletes reflected on the camaraderie, resilience and shared love for skiing that have carried them to the world stage. Sophie Goldschmidt, president and CEO of U.S. Ski and Snowboard, said the athletes trained hard all summer.

Athletes spoke about the mental and physical challenges of high-level competition, the importance of teamwork and the ways the sport has shaped their lives. As the team prepares to open the World Cup
