A woman has been killed in a crash on a NSW highway.

The 65-year-old woman was crashed down an embankment on the Federal Hwy at Yarra, about 10-minutes southwest of Goulburn, at 11.50am on Tuesday.

The car rolled and she was trapped in the wreckage until emergency services could free her.

Paramedics treated her but she could not be saved.

A worker on a property in western New South Wales has drowned.

Two men were canoeing in a dam on a farm at Clover Hills in Jaunter — about 30-minutes south of Oberon — when the canoe overturned about 7.30am on Tuesday.

One man in his 30s swam to safety.
