ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Before "MANIA: The ABBA Tribute" arrives at the Kodak Center on Oct. 29, performer Melissa Harding, who plays Frida, spoke with Gio Battaglia of News 8 about stepping into one of pop’s most iconic roles and what audiences can expect from the high-energy show.

“What I love about the show is we’re paying homage to a live ABBA concert,” Harding said. “It’s not a recreation of one specific concert, but a tribute to so many of their famous performances. For anyone who never got to see ABBA live, we try to recreate what that would feel like.”

Harding said portraying Frida is both an honor and a challenge.
