WEBSTER, NY (WROC) — Congratulations to our latest Golden Apple Award winner, Anna Henry.

Henry is an art teacher at Webster Thomas High School. She has been teaching there for just two years but is already inspiring many young artists.

Principal Glenn Widor says, "She is representative of all of our teachers. Positive, energetic, inclusive, and just tries to make her classroom a place where kids want to be."

Henry was nominated by one of her students, Gabriella Masucci.

"I had her last year and I felt like I was finally getting the help and attention I needed to pursue my talent in art. She was super helpful, always gave constructive criticism and never anything negative," she says.

Henry was a 2016 graduate of Webster Thomas. Some of her artwork still hangs on the wall there.
