Snow guns are running on multiple Colorado mountains, a sign that ski season is fast approaching. Another harbinger is that the annual ski movies are coming soon to a theater or brewpub near you.

Teton Gravity Research’s “Pressure Drop,” which celebrates 30 years of TGR films , will be shown Oct. 25 at Wibby Brewing in Longmont. The 76th film from Boulder-based Warren Miller Entertainment, “Sno-Ciety,” which includes a segment shot at Denver’s Ruby Hill Rail Yard terrain park, will have five shows at the Boulder Theater Nov. 13-15, and three shows at Denver’s Paramount Theater, Nov. 21-22. “After the Snowfall,” produced by Crested Butte-based Matchstick Productions, will be shown Nov. 6 at Wood Boss Brewing in Denver.
