FORT CARSON, Colo. (KKTV) -A small grass fire broke out on the training grounds of Fort Carson Tuesday afternoon.

The fire, reported to be in a designated training area, was confirmed by Fort Carson officials at 2:28 p.m.

Officials said that crews were aware of the fire and were actively monitoring the area.
