Anya Lawrence has hailed the upcoming Hollyoaks Later as "one of the best episodes" ever broadcast on the Channel 4 soap.

The late-night spin-off show returns on Wednesday for the first time in five years as part of the soap's 30th anniversary celebrations.

Shot entirely on location in Liverpool city centre and Merseyside, Hollyoaks Later delves into the lives of teenagers Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis), Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) and Anya's character Vicky Grant as they grapple with their lives and friendships in the wake of child exploitation.
