Antoni Stasie had an appointment with his nurse practitioner at the 443 Northern Ave. E. facility Oct. 9 and was shocked, saddened and seething, after discovering meters had been removed and, to park without being fined, he’d have to pay via plastic or cellphone – the latter of which he doesn’t own.
Stasie said that when he entered the clinic, the receptionist presented him with a computer tablet in which he was instructed to enter his name, telephone number and credit card or debit card number, and then choose what length of time he expected to be at his appointment.
