DENVER (KDVR) -- Two people are charged with over 100 counts of animal cruelty each after dozens of animals were rescued from a home in Northglenn in July.
On Tuesday, the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced that charges were officially filed against Patti Joslin, 69, and Dakotah Joslin, 32.
According to the DA's office, the charges are related to the confiscation of dozens of animals inside the home in the 1900 block of 116th Drive.
Authorities said at the time that over 70 animals were inside the home, and two of them, a dog and a cat, were dead.
The two are charged with 11 counts of aggravated animal cruelty, a class four felony, and 98 counts of cruelty to animals, a misdemeanor.
