Michelino Sunseri last year used a trail that is considered off-limits in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. He spent just two minutes on the trail while setting a record for running up and down Grand Teton mountain in less than three hours. Sunseri's supporters are upset by what they call excessive enforcement by the government. Prosecutors say a ban on shortcutting trails is widely publicized in the park. But the case could go away if Sunseri meets certain conditions, including community service.
