FULLERTON – Four people were found dead in a Fullerton apartment Tuesday after a friend called police saying he believed the group had overdosed on drugs.

Police were called about 11 a.m. to the 100 block of West Wilshire Avenue by a man who said his friends had overdosed and were not breathing, according to Fullerton police Officer Kristy Wells, a spokeswoman for the department.

The bodies of the four adults were found in the apartment and investigators were working to determine the cause of death, Wells said.

Further details were not immediately available.

Their identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
