DENVER (KDVR) — A person is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, resulting in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 being closed in Larimer County.
Colorado State Patrol said at around 2:02 p.m., the agency responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-25 near milepost 258 involving a semitrailer hauling a flatbed trailer.
According to the agency, the semitrailer was traveling northbound on I-25 when it traveled off the right shoulder, ultimately rolling onto the driver's side.
As a result, the driver was ejected from the vehicle, and the truck had later stopped on the right shoulder of northbound I-25, said the agency.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
CSP said the two northbound lanes are blocked for the crash investigation; however, the HOV lane remains open
