Scott Seltzer doesn’t know what comes next in his life, but he is sure about one thing.

He is stepping down as the WPIAL executive director effective Dec. 20.

“I decided to retire. It’s time. I was talking with my wife, and we decided that it was a good time to go now,” Seltzer, 58, said. “I was very humbled to be able to sit in the same seat as Tim O’Malley. I sort of hope that people remember me as someone who was helpful, gave them my honest opinion and didn’t lie to them.”
