WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Three months after a 39-year-old man died from severe burns he suffered during a southeast Wichita burglary, a 36-year-old woman is formally accused of murder in the case.
Sedgwick County District Court records from Tuesday show that Molly Hubbard faces a first-degree murder charge in the July death of Ryan K. Crawford. The court complaint says that Hubbard killed Crawford “while in the commission of, attempt to commit, or flight from an inherently dangerous felony to wit: burglary.”
Hubbard is also charged with burglary in the case.
The court record says that Crawford suffered the severe electrical burn on July 17 and died at a hospital on July 19.
