A renewed ground and air search for missing four-year-old Gus Lamont on a remote South Australian sheep station has concluded without finding any trace of the child, nearly three weeks after he vanished.
Police, defence force members and SES volunteers combed the rugged terrain surrounding Oak Park Station, about 40 kilometres South of Yunta, over four days this week, covering a 5.5 kilometre radius from the homestead, equal to about 95 square kilometres.
But the massive operation, one of the largest of its kind ever conducted by SA Police, ended without new evidence.
“Police have today concluded a renewed search of Oak Park Station for four-year-old Gus who was last seen late on 27 September 2025,” South Australia Police said in a statement.
