WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Kayla MacMillan’s team has won a third straight game at the Home Hardware Curling Pre-Trials.

The Victoria foursome got to a record of 3-0 with a 6-4 win over Nancy Martin’s team from Martensville, Sask.

The men’s and women’s winners of the pre-trials join the Montana’s Curling Trials fields next month in Halifax.

The trials determines Canada’s teams for February’s Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, Italy.

In other games, Myla Plett doubled Selena Sturmay 10-5, Krista Scharf edged Danielle Inglis 8-7, Sam Mooibroek got by Scott Howard 5-4 and Braden Calvert defeated Jordan McDonald 8-4.

The men’s and women’s finals will each be a best-of three starting Saturday.
