SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Gov. JB Pritzker sat down for a fireside chat at the Economic Club of Chicago Tuesday. The Democrat said he wants lawmakers to address immigration enforcement and transportation during the second week of the veto session.

Ways to help Chicago and the surrounding suburbs are some of the top items on the veto session to-do list, but Pritzker said his job is to represent and support the economy of every community.

"I know that a lot of people who live here in Chicago don't often think about Central Illinois or Southern Illinois, but they are vital to the future and success of our state," Pritzker said.
